Great for young children ages 3-6, this board book helps them to explore concepts such as opposites, sounds, colors, counting, and action words.
Kids will explore the book by opening dozens of surprise-filled flaps, as they read about their favorite Bible characters.
Parents will appreciate the book's ability to expose young children to ways of looking at things that go beyond normal illustrated books.

  •     Each page has flaps to lift, but the purpose of each page is an activity such as learning action words, counting, colors, opposites, etc which seems to make the child more interested in that then the Bible story. Only about 2 sentences per story.

  •     We already had the Lift and Learn New Testament Stories, so we were happy to find the Old Testament on Amazon. My children LOVE the lift the flap books.

  •     This is one of my favorite toddler and preschooler books. It's large in size, but it has so many flaps with so many interesting pictures behind the flaps that it keeps kids entertained for a long time. I used it when my kids were little, and I've given it as a gift to several moms. It doesn't really teach bible stories, but it provides pictures from bible stories that give you an opportunity to introduce the bible stories if you want. I like the New Testament Stories lift-and-learn stories as well, but the Old Testament flaps are a little more interesting to the kids.

  •     My kids love this lift-the-flap board book. It's sturdy and has lots of lift-the-flaps for each page. Would definitely recommend this to a friend.
