  •     This is a great book, full of basic sight words, to get kids into reading chapter books. The words are easy, but the pages are longer so kids feel that they are reading harder material. It builds stamina and success. The story is cute too.

  •     Perfect for winter!

  •     Why would you send me a book with pages 11-26 missing?! Pages 1-11 are printed twice, then the story picked up on page 27-41.

  •     Received in great shape

  •     Nice book

  •     Great kids book! My son loves them!

  •     Rosamond's present slid off of her sled. Nate the Great walked to her house and noticed that there were 6 cartons of milk on the table. Rosamond had only 4 cats and each cat drank a single bottle of milk. What could the other 2 bottles be for? Nate followed the tracks from Rosamond's sled in the snow. This led him to a tree by the tracks. He looked up into the tree and found his present, a cat named Super-Duper Hex. You will enjoy this book if you like Nate the Great. I liked it because it was a tricky mystery to solve.

  •     perfect for my first grader! Nate the great gives him great motivation to keep on reading!

  •     Great book my grandson loved it and enjoyed reading it!

  •     Cute book. My nephew liked it and the "clues" it included.

  •     Great books for my first grader. He struggles a bit, but I wanted a book that challenged him a bit. We read together & I tackle to words he has more difficulty with.

  •     Grandson loves this series!!

  •     Hard to buy a book when there is a library. This is a good book for kids who like mysteries. I think we may only read it a few times at our house hence the reason for only 3 stars. I am a big Dan but my son apparently not so much

  •     My 7 year old loves Nate the Great stories, and this allows us to read stories together and has introduced him to reading part of a story, saving the page, and coming back to finish it at a later time. The story allows us to guess what's going to happen - he gets to play detective.

  •     Great book series. I purchased this for my 7 year old son as a reward for helping me around the house. He has read this book out loud to me and we both enjoyed it very much. I look forward to hearing more of the Nate the Great books

  •     Made great gift.

  •     I bought this as a birthday gift for my 9 year-old nephew, who is reading at or very slightly below grade level. He wanted a "chapter book" and I was under the impression that this was a chapter book. Well, it is not. My sister said he enjoyed the story very much, and read it in less than an hour. So, good marks for the book, but too young of a book for most 9 year olds.

  •     My reader grandson was pleased to be able to continue his love of this character.
