  •     This book is just what I was looking for. This is a gentle introduction to each letter of the Hebrew alphabet. My 7 year old daughter enjoyed the games after being introduced each letter. Every night she worked on a new letter, and after 22 nights she is comfortable with each of them. Each lesson allows the reader to trace and practice writing the letter, and then includes games to reinforce their understanding. Now that she started another kids book on reading, she is able to concentrate on the vowels and stringing together the sounds so as not to be overwhelmed.

  •     Great book. Great value!

  •     I am well pass college age but feel like a kindergartener again. Exciting learning an ancient language in a modern way. Great tool!

  •     This book is an excellent resource to help your children learn the Hebrew language. Even before leaving the USA. It is amazing how much better kids are at this.

  •     easy to understand.

  •     I am teaching my grandchildren the Aleph Beyt & this book will be a great asset. It gives letters to trace, transliteration and simple exercises to practice recognizing the different letters. They lessons are short enough for young children with shorter attention span. This book would actually be helpful for anyone learning Hebrew, but is great for kids. You don't necessarily have to know Hebrew to use it, but of course, it is helpful.

  •     teaching my 6 year old daughter how to read hebrew. its a great start. she loves doing the work in this book.

  •     I had to return this book. Although advertised as being for a "beginner" in learning Hebrew, it was too advanced for me.

  •     This attractive introductory level workbook has all the things you need most to teach Hebrew to a child 4-9 years old (that fleeting "golden age," when you should be teaching at LEAST one foreign language). One of the best things about it is that a child who can read at about kindergarten level can do the workbook with little or no help. (Tell them they can play 10 minutes of video games for every page they finish and the book will be done in no time. :-)Also get a great book called "Reading Hebrew: A Programmed Instruction Book" (by Adler & Yudell ISBN0874412153), which is also a superb workbook for introducing a first-time beginner to the Hebrew alphabet.

  •     This is a comprehensive and easy book to use as a first step to reading Hebrew. This old woman has found that she actually can read and enjoy a foreign language!

  •     This book is colorful, well organized, and easy for a child to be successful learning Hebrew. I really like the activities in the book.

  •     Its a very fun book and makes learning fun and easy.
